  • Determined fundamental molecular parameters required for the generation of biohybrid materials that site-specifically interact with proteins, cells, and tissues with high affinity.

  • Invented and established a generalizable, synthetic carrier strategy for small molecule cargo based on naturally evolved molecular interactions between long chain fatty acids and serum proteins (patents granted and published).

  • Pioneered inflammation-directed, shape-shifting drug-loaded nanomaterials for their ability to form long-lasting drug depots in tumor tissue.
